Allah is the creator of the entire universe and everything within it. The world itself is a reflection of His ultimate being. “Allah,” as a term, is not a synonym “Allah” has no dictionary meaning. Alongside this, The other names used to describe Allah within the Qur’an are referred to by the name Asmaul Husna. The expression Asmaul Husna is composed consisting of two phrases. Asma is the plural form of “name,” and Husna means beautiful or most beautiful. These words are interpreted as “Allah’s most beautiful names.” Additionally, Asmaul Husna describes the qualities and attributes of ALLAH All-Powerful. Thus, understanding the significance of Asmaul Husna’s work is essential to understanding Allah and his qualities.

The importance of learning about Asmaul Husna is similar to the process of learning about and knowing about ALLAH. Therefore, knowing Him can help the confidence of Muslims in their faith. This is the reason why one must remember these Holy names and have an understanding of their significance. By doing this, the Muslim will be filled with confidence, faith, and faith in Allah.

Importance of Asmaul Husna in the Quran:

The importance of studying Asmaul Husna is also mentioned in the Holy Book. Allah mentions in the Qur’an: “The most beautiful names belong to Him (Allah).” [Qur’an 59:24]. Similarly, He also says in another verse: “And to Allah belong the names that are the most revered. Also, you can call upon Him with those names.”. [Qur’an 7:180]. In another location, Allah says: “Call upon Allah or call the Rehman. Whatever name you use, (all) good names belong to Allah”. [Qur’an 17:110]

The verses above tell us that Allah’s names are excellent. Embracing any good thing and making it an integral part of daily life benefits humans. But what can you do when we have these names? So, the most effective way to use these names is to do what the Qur’an says to call upon Allah by these names. In the end, it is bringing Allah’s blessings to the world.

Allah mentions in the Qur’an: “Indeed, he succeeded. He became pure (from the evils of the soul as well as the pollutants from sin). And he continued to mention God’s name. And continued to pray”. [Qur’an 87:14-15]. Therefore, anyone who prays to Allah by interceding using these names or calling Allah by these names. This means that Allah Almighty will accept the prayer of that individual. This will serve as a way of getting close to Allah and enjoying his pleasure.

Importance of Asmaul Husna in Hadith’s:

The Holy Book also emphasizes the importance of learning Asma ul Husna. Allah declares in Qur’an, “The most beautiful names belong to Him (Allah).” [Qur’an 59:24]. Similarly, He also says in another verse: “And to Allah belong the names that are the best. Also, you can call upon Him with those names.”. [Qur’an 7:180]. In another place, Allah says: “Call upon Allah or call the Rehman. Whatever you choose to call, (all) good names belong to Allah”. [Qur’an 17:110]

The verses above tell us that Allah’s names are perfect. Committing to any good thing and making it an integral part of your daily life is a blessing for humans. However, what can be our actions with the names we’ve chosen? The best way to use these names is as the Qur’an has said that we should call upon Allah by these names. In the end, it is bringing Allah’s grace to our lives.

Allah is revealed in the Qur’an: “Indeed, he succeeded. He became pure (from the sufferings of the soul and impureties from sin). He kept mentioning his Lord’s name. He continued to pray”. [Qur’an 87:14-15]. Therefore, anyone who prays to Allah by using these names, by interceding using these names, or by calling Allah by these names.
