Allah declares: ” Establish prayer and give Zakat(regular charity) and bow down with those who bow down.” [Quran 2:43].
Salah By sunnah-pillars of Islam:
Salah(Prayer) is considered the second-highest element of Islam and is the most frequently required act in the Muslim’s daily life. We fast for one month each year, pay Zakat each year, and do Hajj once in our lives. But, Salah is a task that should be completed at least five times every day regardless of conditions. Allah did not bar Muslims from prayer during the time of war. Allah states: “Observe all the Salah(prayer) and especially the middle Salah (Salah Aser) and stand before Allah with politeness.” Quran 2:238
Salah According to sunnah – Paradise:
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) stated that Allah claims: ” I have made Salah mandatory for you and your family. It is my duty to ensure that anyone who is able to perform these five prayers in the right time I am responsible to take the person to Paradise. If you do not follow these prayers, I am not responsible for their actions”. [Abu Dawud]
Allah assists through Salah:
Salah is a way to be a part of the community and bring you relief in the afterlife. However, many advantages are derived from salah in the present world. Peace and peace are found. Muhammad (SAW) was the Prophet. Muhammad (SAW) was always made Salah during stress and anxiety. Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (RA) said in his report that ” Whenever the Prophet (SAW) faced a serious problem, he turned post-haste to Salah.” [Abu Dawud]
Salah Based on sunnah-conversation Allah:
Abu Hurairah narrates that Holy Prophet (SAW) declared: ” The servant comes closer to his Lord when he prostate.” Through Salah, it is possible to talk to Allah SWT. Salah refers to an Arabic word that means “connection.” The Messenger of Allah (SAW) declared: “When one of you gets up to offer Salah. He is speaking to his Lord, therefore pay attention to how he communicates to Him. Make sure you don’t break this bond between you and your Creator”.
Salah Following sunnah-Forgiveness:
Salah by itself constitutes a great action that smudges away bad acts. This is explained by the hadith below. One time, the Prophet(SAW) inquired of the population: ” If a person was living within his home and took a bath five times per day. Would you think he’d have dirt on his body?” The people said, “No dirt would remain on him.” The Prophet (SAW) later said, “That is like the five-day Salah: Allah wipes away their sins.” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Salah Based on sunnah-Muslim’s unity:
Prayers are offered to the congregation to encourage unity, equality, and respect between Muslims. The worshipers (Namazi) are in an organized line from shoulder to shoulder regardless of nationality, race or color or wealth, family or social status, and pray in a single body. This form of unity assists in eliminating any barriers between people. It is said that the Prophet (SAW) stated, “Salah(prayer) in congregation is better than offering Salah(prayer) alone by twenty-seven degrees.”
Salah Based on sunnah-Success
“The Prophet (SAW) stated: “The first of his issues for which a person is held accountable( sins/virtues) during the Day of Resurrection will be the Salah. It will be secure and prosper if proven to be excellent. However, the person will be disappointed and unhappy if it’s bad.”
Conclusion:

Additionally, Salah has a lot of benefits both in this world as well as in the future. Although Salah is significant in Islam, It is tragic that most Muslims don’t give it the proper way. Muslims must offer their Salah in time to ensure that Allah’s many blessings can be achieved.
